an assortment of pictures from mariposa county. this is where my family is from, and we still have property here that dates back to the mid 19th century. it's incredibly beautiful. too bad people from los angeles keep buying up all the surrounding land to build thier ugly houses. including one with a twelve foot tall granite version of the statue of liberty with 'god bless america' engraved into the base. taking kitsch to it's patriot act extremes. sad. there is also a stitch of several of the below photos.
